Workshop with Saidhbhín Gibson

Friday 16th August 2024
Location: Bateman Quay Bateman Quay Kilkenny
This workshop is created in response to Sinéad Fahey’s exhibition Everything Flowing, we invite participants to bring a botanical element that inspires them: a flower, a leaf, a piece of bark, a blade of grass.

Through a process of slow-looking, we will study the colour, structure and composition of each piece and create a painting influenced by Sinéad Fahey’s distinctive style.

This workshop makes us think about our entangled connection with the natural world.

If the weather is nice the workshop will take place outside, so please be prepared by bringing a hat / sunglasses, otherwise the workshop will be in the building. We are committed to creating a safe space for everyone involved to take part equally.

The space is fully wheelchair accessible. If anyone has any further access needs for this event please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Rachel Botha at bothar.work@gmail.com.
