The age-old question, who invented whiskey? The first written record of Aquae Vitae (the water of life) was right here in Kilkenny way back in 1324. That was 700 years ago this year – and 170 years before our Scottish cousins came to it. Help us to celebrate the 8th centenary with a two-hour event, tasting a range of award-winning Irish & Scottish whiskies. Goody bags for each ticket holder on departure worth €25.
