This free playwriting workshop for writers based in Kilkenny explores the relationship between beginnings and endings in plays.
How can you bring about an ending that’s both surprising and inevitable? What are the most skilful ways to hook an audience’s attention from the start?
Aimed at writers who have not yet written a full-length play, this workshop offers ‘on your feet’ exercises that focus on writing a beginning that sparks the imagination of an audience. There will also be a chance to find out about Abbey’s Literary and New Work Department.
