Snakes and Snocks!
Learn about snakes and design your own snake sock puppet!
Visit the National Reptile Zoo Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th and Monday 17th of March from 10am – 5.30pm and join in on our craft workshop to learn about snake evolution and make your own “snock” puppet with your old sock.
You’ll learn why people fear snakes and how different snakes live in the wild, then design your own snock and imagined habitat and diet. Plus we’ll discuss the circular economy and how you contribute to it by upcycling old stuff, such as your old sock!
Important note: To make your own snock you’ll have to bring in an old sock, we can’t guarantee that our zookeepers socks will be clean!
Time: 10am – 5.30pm
Cost: Included with General Admission.
No booking needed.
And as usual there’ll be live animal encounters throughout the day on the hour, 11am, 12pm etc up until 5pm.
