Rory O Connell, co-founder of the Ballymaloe Cookery School (with his sister Darina Allen) joins forces with past students and with head pastry chef at Ballymaloe House, JR Ryall, to create a delicious and convivial evening in the heart of Kilkenny city.
Seasonal and local ingredients will create a table of autumnal delights, a celebration of the golden season and a feast for the senses.
The evening begins at 5.45 pm with live music, oysters and Guinness in The Back Room at 82 John St. – R95PW98
Guests will then be guided by lantern through the medieval streets of Kilkenny to the beautiful Medieval Mile Museum to enjoy a five-course set menu. Ballymaloe Alumni include Tracie Daly Food Business Coach, Sinead Foyle of The Seahare, Aidan Ryan of Tribe and Bettystown House, Colm Keane of Daddy’s, JR Ryall of Ballymaloe House, Laura and Rory Gannon of Cakeface Café Roastery & Cookery School.
