The catastrophic war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank has cost tens of thousands of innocent lives since October 7th and shows little sign of abating. Seemingly the world’s most intractable conflict, its origins are incredibly complex and sprawl across much of modern human history. Blame is attributed passionately across an impossible matrix of ancient and modern alliances, emnities and Messianic convictions.
Our panel examines the possible paths forward that involve all the players including Israel, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and the West, including Israel’s biggest ally, the USA. And what of Russia and China’s latter day empire building? Is there hope?
Carole Nakhle, Michael Fertik. Mehreen Khan, Evan Solomon with Dylan Moran.
