Queer Art Club is a new initiative by Ossory Youth, in collaboration with the Butler Gallery, and facilitated by and for the queer community who enjoy making art in the company of others.

Queer Art Club aims to provide support, advocacy, and platforms for the LGBT+ community, but most importantly a community led space that allows individuals to be their unique selves.

Individuals are free to work on their own projects or be led by an artist facilitator. Materials will be provided.

Queer Art Club is a monthly event, occurring on the second Saturday of each month at 12 – 2pm. It is completely free, but a ticketed event.

The Butler Gallery and the Learning Centre is wheelchair accessible, and we would like to make the space as accessible as possible.

This is an 18+ event and group open to the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.

Our artist facilitator will be Cúan Cusack, a Waterford based artist.
