Paul Muldoon is one of Ireland’s greatest living poets and we’re delighted to welcome him to Kilkenny for a pair of events celebrating two of his most recent projects.
Since publishing his first collection, New Weather, at the age of 21, he has written fourteen more as well as libretti, books for children, song lyrics, and radio and television drama, served as Oxford Professor of Poetry and poetry editor of The New Yorker, taught at Princeton University and garnered a host of awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.
For this second event in the Parade Tower, Muldoon reads from his acclaimed new collection, Joy in Service on Rue Tagore.
