Mother Tongues is the solo project from Dublin-based drummer and producer Dennis Cassidy, sampling long-lost Irish vinyl and cassette recordings, unearthed from years of digging through
dusty crates, the length and breadth of the country.

Started as a creative outlet to move away from the everyday familiarity of the drum kit, it has slowly developed into a continuous quest to showcase and archive the wealth of recorded music, history and culture of our Fair Isle.
