This May we’re stacking the deck with a line-up of top notch comedic talent all for you! We’ve got a double-headliner of returning champions as Martin Angolo and Sharon Mannion return! Also on the night we have two rising stars of Irish comedy Elinor Murphy & Taran O’Sullivan. You’d be mad to miss out on this one!

Martin Angolo is fresh from starring in the Amazon series Last One Laughing with Graham Norton and a hugely successful tour of 20 North American cities. We’re delighted he’s bringing his unique brand of intelligent one liners and stories back to Kilkenny. Martin has millions of views on Instagram and Tik Tok and has also appeared on RTE, Sky and BBC on that old-fashioned medium of television!

Sharon Mannion is the resident MC of The Comedy Cellar in Dublin (Ireland’s longest running comedy club). She won the Tedfest Best Stand-Up award and is a founding member of sketch group Ghost Train Willy. Her TV credits include Bridget & Eamon, Moone Boy, Republic of Telly and Damo & Ivor. She’s also lowered herself to act in every short comedy film our MC Cian has ever made!

We’re delighted to welcome back the hilarious Elinor Murphy to Kilkenny. If you were at her last show you’ll know why she won the Best New Act award at the Bray Comedy Festival 2022. They also dubbed her a “rising star who you absolutely must see!”

Taran O’Sullivan is known for being a regular on RTÉ 2FM and Callan Kicks on RTÉ Radio1. She was the co-host of the popular podcast Friendzoned with Stephen Mullan and was recently a Funny Women Semi Finalist. Come see Taran before she’s too famous!
