As you know, a general election is fast approaching and I am honoured to have been selected by you to contest the election in Carlow-Kilkenny. I have served as an elected representative for the past 20 years as councillor, TD and minister and over that time I can reflect on many green achievements that we can all be proud of.

Running a modern election campaign is expensive and we need to be able to compete with the bigger parties with much bigger budgets. In that regard, we need to raise funds to help us return a Green TD for Carlow-Kilkenny. To that end, I will be launching my campaign with a fundraiser table quiz on Thursday 26th September at Billy Byrne’s in Kilkenny.
