Following last year’s incredible concert performance at The Sondheim Festival, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Tony Award® nominee and Emmy winner Liz Callaway will deliver a Performance Masterclass at this year’s Festival, exploring the songs of Sondheim’s female-identifying characters.

An original cast member of Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway, Liz enjoyed a close friendship and artistic association with Stephen Sondheim which spanned a lifetime. Amid an impressive list of Broadway credits, Liz sang the Academy Award nominated song Journey to the Past in the animated feature Anastasia, and is also the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin and the King of Thieves and The Return of Jafar.

This open masterclass will take place onstage at the The Watergate Theatre from 10am-1pm on Saturday, 7 October. Observer tickets only are available through the website.
