Music in Kilkenny is delighted to support this visit to Kilkenny from the Leipzig University Choir under its director Prof. David Timm who are presenting a concert programme highlighting the works of Max Reger, former Director of Music at Leipzig University who was born 150 years ago in 1873. The programme also features the music of Johann Walter, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, who all played a vital role in Leipzig’s musical history.
