Kilkenny Tourism welcomes all tourism and hospitality businesses in Kilkenny to this year’s networking event. It gives existing and prospective members of Kilkenny Tourism the chance to meet and discuss ways to work together to promote Kilkenny as a top-class destination.

About Bill Wolsey
Belfast publican and hotelier Bill Wolsey founded the Beannchor Group which comprises a portfolio of award-winning hotels and restaurants in Northern Ireland including the 5-star Merchant Hotel. He has instilled a sense of employee empowerment and loyalty throughout the group which boasts one of the highest employee retention levels in the sector. The Beannchor Group is developing the Bullitt Hotel in Dublin which will incorporate the medieval structures of St. Mary’s Abbey into its design and is due to open in 2025. Bill was awarded an OBE for his services to business and the hospitality industry in Northern Ireland in 2014.

Kilkenny Tourism are delighted to welcome Bill to our networking event to share his insights on tourism from his experience. His unique outlook comes from an extensive career in the industry that included facing challenges such as running businesses during a turbulent time in Northern Ireland and the task of breathing a new lease of life into old buildings.
