Join artist Anouschka Joyce and learn how to paint a beautiful Irish countryside scene in a fun relaxed environment. Anouschka will guide you through the steps to create your own painting from drawing and composition to colour mixing and brush techniques to a finished piece.
All abilities are welcome. Light refreshments served.
Anouschka Joyce is a contemporary Irish artist based in Tramore, Co.Waterford. Her work explores her deep connection to nature and its need for protection. Working primarily as a painter, her aim is to draw the observer in, allowing them to see nature through her eyes in all its vibrancy and movement, to evoke an emotive response, and help people to build their own connection with nature.
Anouschka has taken part in group and solo exhibitions including the Imagine Arts Festival in Waterford for several years, as well as working commercial commissions for Mount Congreve Gardens, Waterford Treasures and the Museum of Time. She is currently working on a large mural inspired by nature and biodiversity for a local primary school.
She has worked on nature workshops through Creative Ireland in partnership with Theatre Royal for local school children.
She is also an art mentor for Summit Sisters, an immersive programme from Mountaineering Ireland, which involves bringing teenage girls’ individuality and creativity to the fore.
Venue: Kilfane House is a fully restored historic Georgian home (circa 1705 – 1798) located in Thomastown, Ireland. The estate sits on acres of untouched open space including 10 acres of forestry, guests may freely explore and enjoy, including the walled Georgian organic gardens, vibrant ponds and streams that meanders through the luscious forestry.
