Emma Langford creates music that playfully blends folk, traditional and contemporary sounds and styles. Songs such as The Winding Way Down to Kells Bay and Birdsong have solidified her place on the Irish and international folk scene.

In ’23, Langford played Ireland’s National Concert Hall, premiering new works inspired by pirate queen Gráinne Mhaol with award-winning conductor Éimear Noone and the National Symphony Orchestra. She also toured Germany, and joined the star-studded Irish Women In Harmony on lead vocals on the main stage at Ireland’s premier music festival, Electric Picnic.

’24 has already seen her complete a full-band tour of the USA. She can currently be found on the road around Ireland with her collaborative trio, sharing a body of work that celebrates Irish myth, history and folklore.
