The Kilkenny Access Group is hosting a Disability Awareness Training session for businesses in Kilkenny who have customers using their services. The training will be delivered by the Disability Federation of Ireland and is funded by the County Council

This event takes place on Wednesday 9th October from 11am – 12 noon and a light lunch will be provided until 1.30pm. It will take place in St Canices Neighbourhood Hall

Not all actions that can be taken to make a business more disability friendly cost money. This training will help business owners understand the challenges people with different types of disabilities face when being a customer in Kilkenny.

Business owners will leave the training with at least one action that can be implemented, to help increase their customer numbers to include people with disabilities.
