The acclaimed quartet brings its residency at this year’s Festival to a close with an iconic work by one of America’s greatest living composers, Steve Reich.
Inspired by the journeys Reich took across the US as a child during World War II, and by the very different journeys undertaken at the same time by those trapped in Europe, Different Trains weaves together live performance and the recorded voices of Holocaust survivors into a deeply moving work.

Also featuring works by Philip Glass and Osvaldo Golijov.
