Want to make a Big Splash for a cause that matters?

On Saturday 23rd September, join people all over Ireland for The Big Splash for Aware and take a dip at your favourite swim spot for a cause that matters. Along with benefitting your own mental and physical health by taking part, it offers a lovely opportunity to get friends, family and local communities together for a bit of fun – all while raising vital funds for our services so we can be there for people affected by depression and bipolar disorder across Ireland.

Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer, a ‘dipper’, or complete beginner, this event is for everyone. Don’t worry if you don’t live near the sea, you can still join and take a dip in a nearby lake, river, or pool – or even challenge yourself to an ice bath or freezing cold shower!

When you register, you’ll receive your exclusive swimming hat featuring the Aware sun icon symbolising hope. We hope to see you all wearing them proudly on the day to show your support for mental health (and keep you warm-ish!). Registration is €23 inclusive of all charges.
