As part of St. Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny showcase of American Band performances, enjoy a stunning musical performance by the Bay Port High School Band that have travelled to Ireland from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. This talented group of young musicians will bring their harmonious sounds to the magnificent St. Canice’s Cathedral.
A performance of exciting orchestral music by Percy Grainger, Malcolm Arnold, and John Williams. With conductors Ashley Siegrist and Kyle Siegrist.
The concert will feature a diverse selection of music, showcasing Bay Port High School band’s skill and dedication. With the cathedral’s breath taking acoustics and the band’s energetic performance, this will be a memorable experience for music lovers of all ages.
Entrance to this event is free and no booking is required.
Throughout St. Patrick’s Festival weekend St. Canice’s Cathedral will feature an art installation Museum Of The Moon by UK artist Luke Jerram as well as hosting a number of events as part of the St. Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny programme including Sharon Shannon live in Concert and The Lunar Banquet.
