Drawing and painting from nature is the perfect starting point to exploring the richness of our natural world. National Biodiversity Week is a call to action to value and protect nature. We can all make a difference.

Our Hedgerows, woodlands, fields and gardens are brimming over with new plant life.

This one day course will provide opportunities to explore investigative drawing and painting. A multi-sensory approach will create a dynamic course, in which the participant will experiment with observation, mark-making and colour exploration.

Workshop will cover:

– Observational and measured drawing

-Exploring light and tone to create form

-Colour mixing and matching

-Wet and dry watercolour techniques

Materials will be provided.
