Josienne Clarke

Thursday 17th August 2023
Location: Cleere’s Bar and Theatre
Indie-folk singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Josienne Clarke is an artist who follows her own compass. Blessed with a voice of crystalline beauty, the BBC Folk Award-winner is equally at home performing a cover of Radiohead or her own twilit compositions.

Her latest album, Onliness, bears the influence of everyone from The Beastie Boys to Phoebe Bridgers, running the gamut of emotions from euphoria to fury and stretching indie folk in new directions. Her stagecraft has been honed supporting folk legend Richard Thompson and, backed by a full band, she is sure to go down a storm.

Please note: this is a standing gig
