CHRISTINE SCARRY is a theatre director, creative producer, vocal coach and educator, with over 25 years’ experience across the cultural, corporate and education sectors.
As a theatre director and performer, she has worked with national and international casts on a wide range of productions at home and abroad, and has directed work in New York City as well as in theatres all over Ireland. She is Artistic Director of Red Alchemy Theatre Company & Voice Studio, Musical Director of the female vocal six-piece, Alchemy, and a recent Writer in Residence at the Watergate Theatre. In September 2022 she joined the faculty at MTU Cork School of Music, where she lectures in Acting and Acting Through Song on the BA Musical Theatre programme.
In 2022 Christine founded The Sondheim Festival – the first festival in Ireland to celebrate the life and work of the legendary musical theatre writer, Stephen Sondheim. This year’s festival will take place from 7-9th October – another fabulous addition to Kilkenny’s cultural tourism calendar.

THÉRÈSE O’SULLIVAN trained at Bird College in London. She is a performer, choreographer and dance teacher, and has taught at many colleges and studios in London, Ireland and Dubai, including the BA Musical Theatre degree at MTU Cork School of Music. She most recently showcased her choreography in The Addams Family at The Everyman, Cork.
Her theatre credits Include: Ensemble in ‘Elf: The Musical’ (The Lowry, Manchester and The Theatre Royal, Plymouth) Mrs Darling and Ensemble in ‘Peter Pan’ (The Courtyard Theatre, Hereford), Ensemble/Dance Captain in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (The Corn Exchange, Newbury) and Ensemble/Dance Captain in ‘Nanny Nellie’s Adventures in Pantoland’ (Cork Opera House), Ensemble/Cover Maleficent in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (Cork Opera House).
Other credits include: Lead Dancer in TEA Film’s music video of Martin Tillman’s ‘Until We Meet Again’, Healthcare Worker in ‘HSSCU Ad’ (3B1, Dir. Max Von Mensenkampff).
