An exciting cultural event has been added to St. Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny, bring the kids to a fun-filled morning of Amhránaíocht agus Dramaíocht do Pháistí – songs and drama for children through Irish – hosted by Teaghlaigh Chill Chainnigh. This interactive event introduces children to the rich world of Irish language and culture in a playful, engaging way through music and drama outside of the school setting.
The session will feature lively Irish songs, fun storytelling, and drama performances, all designed to spark creativity and excitement in young minds through Irish. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to connect with Irish traditions in an entertaining and educational way. Whether they already speak Irish or are just beginning to learn, the songs and activities will make language come alive!
Funded by Seachtain na Gaeilge, this event is part of the wider St. Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny celebrations, promoting the Irish language and culture throughout the city.
