Saturday 30th November 2024
Location: The National Reptile Zoo
All Living Things Environmental Film Festival runs from November 22nd until November 30th in venues across Kilkenny and Waterford.
This is the festival’s second year in Ireland, showcasing climate stories and environmental narratives from around the world. The unique structure of the events ties both films and activities together, ranging from live music and discussions to nature walks and demonstrations.
The All Living Things Environmental Film Festival’s decentralised approach has enabled over 50 in-person screenings across India, Ireland, Lebanon, Germany & Spain, democratizing access to impactful cinema in both urban and rural areas while fostering community engagement.
Everyone, everywhere, all at once.
That is the quality of attention that the climate crisis requires. It demands a groundswell of citizens to engage, tune in, learn, converse, ideate and imagine. Our goal for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival is to contribute to this groundswell by increasing climate awareness through the emotive power of cinema.
Join us Saturday November 30th at the National Reptile from 6pm –11pm. The evenings activities will consist of a guided tour of the National Reptile Zoo with a particular focus on species which are red-listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature followed by a selection of films and documentaries.
