Nine Lives

Katarina, a 20-year-old woman played by Alicia Vikander, seeks solace from her troubled life in the world of classical music. After losing her job, she stumbles into a symphony hall and invents a story to secure a position as a receptionist. As she immerses herself in this new world, her lies spiral out of control, leading to complicated relationships, especially with the older conductor Adam. Directed by Lisa Langseth, Pure explores themes of identity and the corruption of innocence, showcasing Vikander’s powerful performance that launched her onto the world stage.
