Barry McCormack has released seven critically acclaimed albums since leaving Dublin band Jubilee Allstars and is set to release his eight, Painting Devils, in September 2024. The Irish Times has called him ‘criminally underrated’, a musician ‘before his time’ and ‘one of Ireland’s best songwriters’.

His seventh and most recent album, Mean Time, released in 2019, was described by The Irish Times as ‘a brilliant, slightly apocalyptic collection of songs about an era of fake news, information overload and conspiratorial thinking’ and RTE.ie called it ‘scarily prescient’.
