An Interactive Workshop on Bees and the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan takes place in Loughboy Library on Tuesday 16th July from 11.30 – 12.30, for children aged 8 years and upwards.

Edel Heeran, a Heritage in Schools specialist with the Heritage Council, gives a presentation that is interactive and talks about our wild bees and honeybees and how the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan was developed to help them. She brings along an educational hive (no live bees), bees in bug pots, a smoker and bee suit that the children are welcome to try on.
