Join us at Barnstorm Studio as we showcase development on our new site-specific performance: Home by Anna Ní Dhúill. As we prepare for production for summer 2025, this snippet of Home will bring you closer to the young people of Kilkenny, and the stories they have to tell.
Anna Ní Dhúill is a Barnstorm Youth Theatre Alumnus, an emerging Irish screenwriter and playwright. She is the author of Home, a site-specific performance in development during the Festival that uses the city as its backdrop and invites the audience to interact with the characters and the environment. Home will be a theatre experience that takes the audience on a journey around the city as they follow the characters on the day before one of them, Eimear, leaves for Berlin.
Home is one of the 12 projects selected for Screen Ireland’s Spotlight Stage to Screen scheme, which aims to support new writing talent for the screen.
